The Welcome Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

We are closed when the University is closed, including most major holidays.

Driving Directions

For online map services or GPS: 1332 Southern Drive, Statesboro, GA 30460

From I-95 North/I-16 West/GA 67 North (Savannah/Florida): Take Exit 127 off of I-16 and turn right onto GA 67. It is about 15 miles from I-16 to the Statesboro city limits. Proceed to the 7th traffic light at GA 67 and Tillman Rd. Turn left onto Tillman Rd. After turning left onto Tillman Rd., you will come to another traffic light at Hwy 301 South. Turn left at this light. You will see the main entrance to the University on your left. Turn left into the main entrance onto Southern Dr. and continue until you merge right onto Sweetheart Circle. You will see the Welcome Center (located inside Lewis Hall) which is the first building on your right that is facing Sweetheart Circle. Parking is available out front.

From Augusta and other routes on Highway 25 and Highway 80: Come into Statesboro until you reach the light at Hwy 301 south. Turn right onto Hwy 301. Continue through downtown Statesboro until you see the University entrance on your left. Turn left into the entrance onto Southern Dr. and continue until you merge right onto Sweetheart Circle. You will see the Welcome Center (located inside Lewis Hall) which is the first building on your right that is facing Sweetheart Circle. Parking is available out front.

From I-75 South/I-16 East/Highway 301 North (Atlanta/Macon): : Take I-16 East to exit 116 (Statesboro and Georgia Southern University exit). Take a left onto Highway 301. Drive approximately 10 miles. You will pass through three traffic lights. The main entrance to Georgia Southern will be on your right. **As a point of reference look for the Best Western on your left. Southern Drive (main entrance drive) will be on your right shortly after passing the Best Western.** Take a right onto Southern Drive. Upon reaching Sweetheart Circle take a right. You will reach a fork in the road, take a left and continue around the circle. Lewis Hall will be the first building (on the circle) on your right.

All visitors must stop at the Welcome Center to receive a Visitor's Parking Pass. You must have your tag numbr to receive a pass.
