Programming Features
CALL HOLD - Activate: To place an existing call on hold,
press the FLASH key or switchhook once momentarily: special tone is heard. Dial
*90; approximately 10 seconds of dial tone is given. Leave handset off-hook.
Reconnect: Press the FLASH key or switchhook once momentarily; special tone is
heard. Dial *90.
CALL TRANSFER - Activate: Advise calling party that you are going to transfer the call. Press the FLASH key or switchhook momentarily. Special dial tone is heard. Dial the new extension number. A ringback tone is heard. Extension answers - announce call, then replace the handset in the cradle.
CONSULTATION HOLD - Activate: Place the original call on
hold by pressing the FLASH key or switchhook once mementarily. Special dial tone
is heard. Dial the third party's telephone number. Ringback tone is heard. Third
party answers.
Reconnect: Press the FLASH key or switchhook twice, each time momentarily to
return to original party.
CALL PICKUP - To Respond: Lift handset; dial tone is heard. Dial *77 the call is now connected to your telephone.
CALL FORWARD - Activate: Lift handset; dial tone is heard.
Dial *74; special dial tone is heard. Dial number to which calls are to be
rerouted; confirmation tone is heard or party answers. Replace handset in the
cradle.
Cancel: Lift handset; dial tone is heard. Dial *73; confirmation tone is heard.
Replace handset in the cradle.
THREE-WAY CALL - Activate: Place the original caller on hold by pressing the FLASH key or switchhook once momentarily. Special dial tone is heard. Dial the third party's telephone number (on campus or off campus). Ringback tone is heard. After third party answers, press the FLASH key or switchook once momentarily. Now all three parties are connected and can talk.
RING AGAIN - Activate: After reaching a busy signal, press
the FLASH key or switchhook once momentarily. Special dial tone is heard. Dial
*83. Confirmation tone is heard. Replace the handset in the cradle.
To Respond: Lift handset; ringback tone is heard and calling party answers.
