Mr. E. Lee Davis, Associate Vice President for Legal Affairs

Mr. Davis is a 1987 Georgia Southern College graduate and a Bell Honors Program alumnus. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1991, and has practiced in the fields of litigation, school law, and higher education law since that time. He began his career at Georgia Southern University in 1995 in the Office of the Vice President for Business and Finance, and co-founded the Office of Legal Affairs together with former University Attorney Jeff McLellan in January, 2000.

Ms. Maura C. Copeland, Associate University Attorney

Ms. Conley is a 2000 graduate of Furman University. She earned her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law in 2003 and her LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law in 2005. She has served as a law clerk in the Bucks County, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas and the State Court of Hall County, Georgia. She joined the staff of the Office of Legal Affairs in April, 2007.

Ms. Shirley Inman, Senior Administrative Secretary

Ms. Inman has served Georgia Southern since 1992 and has been with the Office of Legal Affairs since the beginning.
