It is best to disable file sharing in iMesh while you are installing the software. If you have NOT already installed iMesh, follow these steps when you install it-

From the Registration Wizard, take the checks mark off these 2 boxes-

• Share download folder and all of its sub-folders automatically, and
• Allow other users to view all my shared files.

Also, do not choose to allow iMesh to scan your hard drives for media files to share.

If you have already installed iMesh, follow these steps-

1. Open iMesh software.
2. Click on Preferences and choose Options.
3. Next under Category, choose Share.
4. Take the check mark off Allow others to view all my shared files.

5. Click on OK and you will be taken back to the mail iMesh page.
6. Select Media Manager.
7. Look for any drives or folders with a grayed-out box to the right. These are the files that are being shared.

8. If you have any shared drives (ones with the grayed-out box to the right), you will need to expand the drive to be able to see all of your folders.

9. Remove all the check boxes next to the drives.

10. Once you have unselected all of the check boxes, you will have no grayed-out boxes left and your files list will look like this:

11. Click OK then close iMesh.
