Disabling File Sharing in Direct Connect

Follow these steps to disable Direct Connect file sharing. Note that after you disable file sharing, you may not be able to use many many of the Direct Connect hubs.

1. Open Direct Connect software.
2. Click on Settings.

3. Under Shared Folders, choose the Add button.

4. You will need to create a new empty folder so choose the New Folder and type in a folder name - such as "Empty". Then click OK.

5. Your new folder will appear in the Shared Folders: window. Do not put any files in this folder.

6. Click OK then close Direct Connect.
