Software
IT Services installs and/or supports a variety of applications
for the workstation environment. See our list of Supported Software.
Some of the supported software is available through site license,
some must be purchased, and some is available on the Web.
Site-Licensed Software
See the appropriate column in our Supported Software list for applications
that are site-licensed.
To request the installation of site-licensed software from IT Services, please email the HelpDesk at helpdesk@georgiasouthern.edu or call us at 478.5429 and we will schedule a time for the installation.
Purchased Software
All software must be purchased through IT Services and Materials
Management. This is due to the contractual obligations that are
often established by software distributors. To purchase standard
software, follow the instructions related to the Software
Request Form.
If you are purchasing Supported Software, you may indicate on the
Software
Request Form that you would like an IT Services technician to
install it.
