Network Services

Network Services provides overall support for our campus network. The Network Services staff provides a range of different services to help maintain the resources that help our University function on a daily basis.

Services offered include:

• Account servcies for faculty/staff Novell accounts.
• Account services for Groupwise e-mail Accounts .
• DNS management and updates.
• DHCP management .
• Management of the Novell cluster.
• Management of our Microsoft 2000 servers

Other important responsibilities are:

• Management and design of campus network infrastructure
• Firewall and other secure access services
• Wireless networking management and design
