The Computer Help Desk provides technical
support for standard hardware and software used by Georgia Southern
faculty and staff. In addition, the unit helps students living in
campus residence halls connect their computers to the campus network.
The Computer Help Desk provides the following services:
- Application Consulting and Support - provides operational support
of standard Georgia Southern applications: configuring hardware
and software as well as trouble-shooting and repairing equipment.
- Call Center - responds to questions and requests through telephone
calls, and email submissions. Staff can often provide you with
solutions over the phone.
- Site-licensed Software - maintains and distributes the university’s
site-licensed computer programs.
- Technology Purchasing - assistance in choosing and purchasing
standard computer equipment and software.
