Scott has been the Director of Georgia Southern's internal audit operation since July 1999. He holds undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. He also has a Master's degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. Scott has over 20 years of experience in auditing. His work experience includes the Commonwealth of Virginia's Auditor of Public Accounts, the Virginia Community College System, and at Georgia Southern. He is a member of the Association of College and University Auditors, the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He also holds professional designations as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Jana joined Georgia Southern's internal audit operation in December 2004. She holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. Jana's experience also includes over 14 years as an accounting assistant in Georgia Southern University's Controller's Office and as an accountant for the Georgia Southern University Foundation.
