| The 800 sf. suite will consist of the department chair's office, an administrative assistant's office, student workroom, and a reception area. A shared 625 sf. space for intra-department department and faculty meetings and small seminars. 8 ne offices for the faculty members who are currently housed in other buildings. The following laboratories will be created: Geochemistry Lab (800 sf.), Qualitative Methods Lab (375 sf.), Planetary Geology/Remote Sensing Lab (375 sf.), Geomorphology/Structural Geology Lab (900 sf.), Teaching Lab (1,315 sf.) and a SAGIS/ESCAL Lab (1,315 sf.). The faculty office within the collection suite will be relocated to the front of the area to make it accessible from the corridor and provide better supervision of the collection. Men's and Women's restrooms on first and second floors will be reconfigured to become ADA compliant, with new plumbing fixtures, partitions and finishes. |
