This project will construct a new Biological Sciences Building. The building will include the faculty labs, lab support rooms, classrooms, teaching labs and Administration and Faculty offices.
Near Term Expected Work
The Environmental Site Assessment will be conducted and submitted to the campus. The architects will be on campus for a ‘Schematic Design Review” meeting to discuss various items to be programmed into the building.
Monthly Progress - September 2009
The Architect firm of SLAM was selected to design the building. The BOR is preparing a contract for SLAM to do the programming and preliminary design. A contract for the Environmental Site Assessment was sent to the contractor for signatures. The site survey has been received and is under review

The architects were on campus for a “kick-off” meeting to discuss various items to be programmed into the building. Proposals for the Environmental Site Assessment were acquired and a contract will be processed. The site survey was contracted and a survey has been submitted for review.
