Student Alliance for a Green Earth (S.A.G.E.) S.A.G.E. (Student Alliance for a Green Earth) is Georgia Southern University's environmental club. Our organization is focused on spreading awareness, promoting responsibility, and increasing concern---on and off campus.
Geo Club Promote interest in earth sciences. Strive to provide students with the extracurricular experience in the study of earth science that will provide a foundation for professional development.
 

Campus Programs
LivinGreen Goals:
  1. Reduce electrical consumption in residence halls by 20% in March
  2. Participate in Earth hour, March 29th 8pm (lights out, power off) http://www.earthhour.org/
  3. Reusable/recyclable replaces temporary/throw-away
  4. Paper replaces plastic
  5. Enhance campus awareness of unnecessary waste via educational programs
Recycling Physical Plant Recycling is committed to increasing the community's awareness to the benefits of recycling. Our staff is responsible for managing the University's recycling program to insure proper collection and handling of recycled materials. We also implement projects to maintain ADA accessibility across our campus and we identify and eliminate abatement issues.
