Why the outdoors/Why Southern Adventures:  I enjoy any and all outdoor activities that allow me to get closer to the natural world and get the blood flowing.

Outdoor Experience/Certifications:  Many years of minimalist backpacking experience, brief outdoor climbing experience, a new found interest in whitewater kayaking, and 14 years skimming up and down many beaches.  I get thrills from boardsports, climbing, paddling, and going to the ends of the earth.  American Red Cross Wilderness First Aid Certified.  American Red Cross CPR/AED Certified.  Project Learning Tree Certified Instructor.  Project WILD Certified Instructor.
