Welcome to Southern Adventures

All Clinics will be held at the Southern Adventures Center at the Recreation Activties Center unless otherwise noted.

Gourmet Smores Clinic

  • Students will gain a better understanding of just how versatile a campfire can be
  • Students will sample a plethora of unique s’mores, going well beyond the plain ‘ol chocolate bar, marshmallow, graham cracker combo
  • Students will be able to ask the instructor anything they want to know about campfire or backcountry cooking.

Belay Clinic

  • Must have climbed at the Georgia Southern Wall prior to class
  • Must sign up for course at the Southern Adventures Center

Sea Kayaking Clinic

  • Must sign up for course at the Southern Adventures Center

Intro to Outdoor Climibing Clinic

  • September 12th, 8:00pm
  • October 5th, 8:00pm
  • March 6th, 8:00pm
  • April 4th, 8:00pm

Slackline Clinic

  • September 26th, 5:00pm (@RAC Pavilion)
  • October 12th, 5:00pm (@RAC Pavilion)
  • November 1st, 5:00pm (@RAC Pavilion)
  • March 20th, 5:00pm (@RAC Pavilion)
  • May 1st, 6:00pm (@RAC Pavilion)
  • June 8th, 6:00pm (@RAC Pavilion)

Canoe Clinic

  • Must sign up for course at the Southern Adventures Center

Lead Climbing Clinic

  • Must hold a current GSU belay certification
  • Must be able to climb at 5.9 clean
  • Must sign up for course at the Southern Adventures Center
