Risk Management

Georgia Southern University’s policy for reporting and handling insurance claims is based on requirements from The Georgia Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) Risk Management and other insurance carriers.  DOAS Risk Management provides insurance to Georgia Southern University through a self-insured program.

Short-term Automobile Rental

Special Property (All Risk) Insurance

State Tort Claims

 

Insurance Policies with Agencies Outside of DOAS Risk Management

 

Educators Professional Liability Insurance

 

Loss Control

Report all claims to the Controller’s Office at 912-478-2307 within 48 hours of the incident.
