EAGLEXPRESS is a stored value account on the EagleCard. Students deposit funds into an account and use their EagleCard to make purchases on or off campus. When a purchase is made, the amount of the transaction is automatically deducted from the account balance. An easy way to make deposits is to use a Mastercard or Visa by calling the toll-free number: 1-888-DINEGSU, locally at 478-5311, or by using myEagleCard.

Use the myEagleCard online deposit system to make a deposit into your EAGLEXPRESS account. EAGLEXPRESS deposits are secured by VeriSign.

Who can have EAGLEXPRESS?

Any student can get EAGLEXPRESS, even those with a Contract Meal Plan. The EAGLEXPRESS account is also available for faculty and staff.

How do I activate EAGLEXPRESS?

Your account is activated when the initial deposit is made, and deposits can be made as often as needed.

Where can I make deposits?

Deposits can be made at seven convenient locations: the EagleCard Office in Russell Union, the University Store, the Pickle Barrel in the Landrum Center, Lakeside Cafe, and the Web. Deposits can be made with cash, money orders, checks, Mastercard, or Visa. Deposits can also be made by phone, by calling 1-888-DINEGSU or locally at 478-5311 or on-line using the deposit service at myEagleCard.>

Is this like a banking system?

No, it is not a banking system and cash cannot be withdrawn from the account. Refunds will be issued by check after the end of each semester by written request only.

Where can I use EAGLEXPRESS?

EAGLEXPRESS is accepted at all campus restaurants, stores, snack bars, The Print Shop, and can even be used to pay Parking, Health Services, some Housing fees, and to make copies in the library. Off-campus retailers are also included. EAGLEXPRESS cannot be used to pay tuition or class charges of any kind. If you have a contract meal plan and choose to eat a meal that cost more than the $5.50 meal equivalency, EAGLEXPRESS is a great way to pay the balance. EAGLEXPRESS cannot be used to purchase alcoholic beverages or tobacco.

Can vendors charge service fees to make a purchase with EAGLEXPRESS?

NO! If this happens, please contact us at 912-478-5311 or e-mail us. This is in violation of our agreement with them.

Is there a fee for this service?

There are no fees or charges for this service; and no minimum deposit is required.
