We cater to various locations on campus, including the Russell Union building and the Continuing Education building at the numbers listed below. We suggest you book your room well in advance, as space is at a premium.

You will need to give the office details concerning the number of guests expected, table layout and any other special needs which may include, podiums, microphones, risers, screens, projectors, etc.

- BOOKING -

Once your location has been booked, the Catering Manager will gladly discuss menu arrangements for your event. Remember to include any special dietary needs (allergies, vegetarians, etc.). This will help ensure the availability of alternative food items as needed.

A minimum of two weeks advance notice is required for all events. Groups of 100 or more require three weeks advance notice.

Guaranteed Guest Count, Changes and Cancellations

We require a guaranteed number of guests, to be confirmed by 12:00pm, two working days (Mon-Fri) prior to your event. You will be charged for 100% of your guarantee, or the number of guests attending whichever number is greater. Guarantee changes within 48 hours prior to your event may result in menu substitutions at the quoted or market price. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your event. Groups failing to comply with this rule will be charged at full cost for services ordered. These procedures are necessary to cancel food orders and labor commitments. In Compliance with Local and State Health Department regulations, any and all leftover food items from catered events remain the property of Georgia Southern Catering Services for proper disposal.

Special Arrangements

This brochure is meant to be the comprehensive guide to all your catering needs, however, any special or dietary food items or menus should be arranged in advance so as to ensure availability at the event. This can be done through the Catering Manager.

Billing Information

All prices are for service in the Russell Union or The Continuing Education Building. There is an additional charge for service elsewhere on campus. There is a $20 delivery charge for one-trip to facilities on/off campus in which Catering Services does not have a kitchen.

All Break prices include charge for disposable ware. There is an additional charge for China service. The client will be billed for 100% of the final guarantee, or the number of guests served, whichever number is greater. We are required to add state and local taxes.
