Student technicians who support technology for students living in Georgia Southern University Residence Halls. The team can be reached by phone at 478-7971, in person by visiting Southern Courtyard, e-mail ResNet, or by submitting a trouble ticket to the Call Center.

AUXILIARY STAFF! HAVE A TECHNICAL PROBLEM?

Don't stress! The helpdesk allows staff to submit assistance requests (tickets) concerning techical issues such as upgrades, Diebold, Banner, networking, security, RMS, Medicat, printing, Web assistance, etc.

  • Technical support and assistance for all Auxiliary Services units. This includes and is not limited to The University Store, The IT Store, Food Service units, EagleCard Office, Health Services, Transportation Services, Eagle Print Shop, University Housing (Residence Life)
  • Support of Desktop computing in all Auxiliary Services units
  • Operating system and database administration for the Auxiliary Services computing environment
  • Data and voice communications
  • Liason support for RMS, Diebold, Sequoia systems, Medicat, Med-Buddy, Banner, PeopleSoft, and other database related applications
  • Software support and distribution
  • Web Assistance
  • Liason for campus network connections
  • Liason for new Novell/Groupwise email account setup and management
